This may possibly the best piece Derek has made. This piece was made to start conversations and make a statement in nearly any room. This handmade one of a kind bowl and lid is made from Walnut root infused with ruby colored epoxy resin that fills the nature cracks in the wood. The thickness is expertly turned down to an even 3.5mm thickness throughout. Light shines through the ruby epoxy and brings this piece to life in ways that beg to be seen in person. That is rare to see in a piece at this thickness. Intricacies designed into the handle and bottom stand match perfectly to allow light in a complimentary manner.
